Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985, in New York City New York) is well-known for her ability to act across different genres such as historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also the owner of a production company. The twin brothers Hunter as well as her mother were the youngest siblings. At the age of seven years old, her love of acting was growing. She began to audition for commercials. After a short time beginning her study with the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. As a child she appeared in Sophistry alongside Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North on the set of Rob Reiner's North in. Johansson made her debut as a character in Just Cause, but she first made an appearance in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who run away. Next, she received the praise of critics for playing the role of a teenager who experienced an accident which left her with a blemish in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention with the film Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. With the help of her parents Smith was offered her first acting gig at the age of six. On a TV commercial in which she played Dannon Yogurt. Similar to many actors starting out, she decided to perfect her skills in the field of theatre. She was involved in various USA productions while getting her stage debut with Wildflower. She studied in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
